Cardinals, I have always been told, are visitors from heaven. When I saw this tutorial from Cinnamon Cooney (The Art Sherpa) I knew I was meant to paint this in honor of a few wonderful people I have lost in my life. Every time I see a cardinal I think of them, and that's the way I feel when I see this painting too. I have titled this painting "3 Heavenly Friends".
This painting is a 16x20 inch acrylic painting done on a stretched canvas. The painting has been varnished with krylon matte finish spray varnish to help protect it from fading and dust. The painting comes unframed, but with a sawtooth hanger on the back for easy hanging.
