Impressionist Flower Painting, Colorful Lilacs with Black Background, Something Bright in the Darkness, Acrylic I love painting flowers, and for this particular painting I wanted to do my impression of lilacs, but in different colors on a black background. I used q-tips for the flower petals, and the whole painting was one of my favorites I've ever done! I love the contrast of the bright colors against the black. It's a beautiful painting that I am very proud of. The canvas is a stretched, unframed, 16x20 Inch canvas. The painting has been varnished with matte finish krylon spray varnish.
