It makes me feel very festive, and helps me not miss snow so much (I live in East Tn and we don't get very much here). I grew up in northern Indiana, and although you get tired of all the snow and the long winter, when you don't have it any more you realize how special it is. My own kids haven't gotten to build very many snowmen in their lives, but I have built probably thousands! I like making each snowman have his own personality. They are cute! This painting I wanted to add a special touch to it, so I decided to experiment with some glitter for the snowflakes and his hat and scarf. I love how it turned out! It was the touch this simple painting really needed! The painting is acrylic and has been varnished with krylon matte finish spray varnish to protect it from fading and dust.
