Wintery mixes happen a lot around East Tennessee. Where I live we don't see a lot of snow, but we do see a lot of snow and ice mixed. I painted this wintery mix acrylic painting on one very stormy day in February. It was the last really winter day we had last year, and I was so inspired by how it looked through my window that I really wanted to try to paint it. I feel like it has a little bit of a cartoon look to it, and I am not mad about it!
This is a 16x20 inch acrylic painting done on a stretched canvas. The painting is varnished with krylon matte finish spray varnish to help protect from fading and dust.
The painting comes unframed, but with a sawtooth hanger on the back for easy hanging. The front of the painting has my initials, and on the back is some important information about the painting along with my full signature.
